The Future of the AI-Defined Vehicle
Arm's latest automotive ISP designed for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and digital cockpit imaging applications in a software-defined vehicle (SDV). A dual pipeline architecture reduces latency for the most demanding computer vision tasks without compromising outstanding image quality for human viewing/displays. Accompanied by a suite of tools, including a novel differentiable ISP model, Mali-C720AE enables a cost-efficient hardware/software co-development, image quality tuning and accelerated time to market. This is our most performant, most flexible, and most efficient automotive ISP ever.
Features and Benefits
To reduce latency, Mali-C720AE provide parallel processing pipelines that can be tuned to different image quality requirements for computer vision and display applications. In addition, four parallel outputs can be used, providing options for downscaling, cropping, foveated vision, and Gaussian pyramid output.?
A differentiable ISP model (available with a standalone license) enables fast and cost-efficient image-quality tuning to help maximize the overall performance of computer vision applications.
Mali-C720AE is designed ground-up for automotive applications, with a native 24-bit pipeline, the latest version of our signature local tone mapping engine Iridix™ 8.3, multi-camera management, support for Bayer and Non-Bayer color filter arrays (from RGGB to RYYCy to RGBIr 4x4) and a strong functional safety case (ASIL-D systematic and ASIL-B diagnostic).
